Center Parcs to Host First Community Drop-In Event of 2026

Center Parcs is delighted to announce it will be in the Scottish Borders next month to host its first community drop-in event of 2026, continuing its commitment to engaging with local residents following the granting of planning permission by Scottish Borders Council in December.

The event will take place on Wednesday 18th March at Hawick Town Hall, with members of the Center Parcs project team available from 2pm to 7pm to meet with residents face-to-face and answer questions as the Scottish Borders village edges nearer to construction beginning on site.

The drop-in session will provide attendees with an overview of the broad timeline of activity over the coming years, alongside information about supplier standards and some generic information about the types of roles typically available at Center Parcs villages.

Colin McKinlay, CEO of Center Parcs, said: “Speaking to, and listening to, the communities around our villages is hugely important to us. We greatly value these relationships and are committed to maintaining open dialogue and regular engagement with the Scottish Borders communities now that we have received the green light for this project.

“We’re very much looking forward to answering questions and providing general information on the Scottish Borders’ project however, we’d like to emphasise that at this stage we’re not in a position to hold formal discussions or offer detailed information about specific job or supplier opportunities. Details will be made available in due course with regards to the job and supplier recruitment process.”

Residents are encouraged to attend at any time during the five-hour session to speak directly with the team and learn more about the next steps in the development.

For those who are unable to attend in person, please contact Center Parcs directly via [email protected] or via Community Liaison Officer, Paul Hogarth [email protected] who is also available to answer your questions.
