Center Parcs to restart Hawick drop-in sessions as Scottish Borders village progresses
Center Parcs is to resume regular community drop-in sessions in Hawick as preparations for its new Scottish Borders village gather pace later this year.
Paul Hogarth, Community Liaison Officer for the project, will hold a drop-in session on the last Thursday of each month, with the first event taking place on Thursday 28 May.

First Minister plants first trees as work begins on £450m Center Parcs Scottish Borders
First Minister John Swinney got work on Center Parcs’ Scottish Borders village officially under way today by planting the first trees on the site.
Mr Swinney was joined by schoolchildren from the Borders as well as Center Parcs’ CEO Colin McKinlay as afforestation began at the site between Hawick and Selkirk.

Center Parcs unveils flythrough of proposed Scottish village at final public consultation event
Center Parcs has unveiled a flythrough video of its proposed new holiday village in the Scottish Borders, offering the public a first look at what could become its first location in Scotland.
The video takes viewers on a virtual tour of the site, featuring the arrivals road, waterside lodges, apartments, lochs, Aqua Sana Forest Spa, Subtropical Swimming Paradise, Sports Plaza, and the planned Nature and Heritage Centre.

Center Parcs to host final pre-application consultation with 3D village flythrough simulation
Center Parcs will return to Hawick next week for a two-day open event, in what will be its fourth and final community consultation event, ahead of the formal planning application for its proposed holiday village in the Scottish Borders being submitted to Scottish Borders Council (SBC) in the summer.
